I'm going to an all day dance festival next month. No camping involved but will involve all day standing/dancing outside, possibly in heat, possibly rain. I will defo be wearing trainers, but I want to get some outfit ideas as I'm stuck in a rut of wearing midi dresses or jeans. So i'm after ideas, what do on-trend woman wear to a festival in your 40s? I'm 5'4'', size 10, small boobs, slim waist, curvy hips. Help!

Is it in Southampton? Im going to that one.
Can't be much help in the outfit area has my dh tells me I have an eclectic dress sense😀
My outfit is a velvet mini dress, sequinned bolero and knee high boots.
I would say wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Jeans with a brightly coloured top?

I would personally find a dress more comfortable.
Take tights and a hoody as it will get chilly later on.

I agree a dress prob more comfy that jeans. But I don't know where to start looking for dresses, I tend to shop in Zara, Whistles, and JL. But I want to be a bit braver with choices. I've toyed with a co-ord set but they all look likes pajamas to me!

It's a cliche but I wouldn't be able to resist a short or midi boho dress with chunky boots (or trainers) and maybe mid thigh short leggings underneath unless you have very skinny legs and no chub rub in the heat. Not maxi as if it rains... I ruined a favourite summer maxi dress with mud stains (at the best festival I ever went to, so it was worth it).

The usual suspects like Joe Brown and White Stuff have budget ones. Anthropologie for pricire ones. https://www.superdry.com/products/details/197367/products?sku=2144236500343IQX020&source=googleshopping&locale=en-GB&nst=0&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD0z0wIFbbBmj94xwhlsWjd0zqJEh&gclid=Cj0KCQjws560BhCuARIsAHMqE0GbR273zn8CijBZvRqaDGpgWoBARF6lHPFZSsZHUJ3eQ5jUb4HvuSUaAtQ3EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds have this pure silk one for only £45.

I'd add a soft cropped sweater for when it gets chilly and a very lightweight parka style waterproof. Or LED cape Grin

I go to a lot of festivals and honestly nothing beat denim shorts, a tee, and a layer you can tie round your waist for when it gets chilly.
