Has anyone ordered anything from Billie Fairers range at George Asda?

She had this dress out that I like the look of

I've had some lovely quality stuff for my son from her range, but they come a bit big I'd say

Has anyone got any experience of her sizing in women's clothes?

George clothes used to me great, I've returned every single item bought in the last two years! Honestly they look ok on website but when they arrive are just crap. Weird plastic smell, thin, shiny, see through, wash once/twice turn in to rags
I wouldn't bother if I were you

ArsesUnited · 03/07/2024 01:02

What size/shape are you? Those stripes will make you look bigger than you are.

GoingUpUpUp · 03/07/2024 10:11

I find if between sizes I can size down.

Contrary to the poster above I’ve had some great stuff from there recently!

Mary46 · 03/07/2024 13:42

Hit and miss as previous reply got a top last year threads pulled out it. Crappy quality. Husb got chino shorts they were lovely.

Shybutrude · 03/07/2024 17:44

The guys stuff is way better quality than the womens

It looks like it will bobble as soon as you wear it.

Guaranteed she won't wear her own cheap clothing, just make money who don't have the choices she has.

Much like the Rita Ora tat in Primark.

I recall the Kate Moss collaboration with Top Shop, proper designer level clothing.

Or Karl Lagerfield with H&M. Lovely.

I am not saying don't buy supermarket clothes because I do if I like something. Just don't buy these celebrity rags. Cynical money making.

I didn't buy for the name

I just like her style/stuff she has

Cheap nasty crap, she sure wouldn’t wear it.

I don't mean to be horrible, but that's the exact definition of 'buying it for the name'.

It's not the name though. I couldn't care less if it was Katie Hopkin's range Grin I like the style/look

Oh I remember that Kate Moss one shoulder dress, I had it in white ..would LOVE to get my hands on another , that was genuinely lovely😊

CoastalSunsets · 04/07/2024 13:05

My friend has this dress OP. She's 5'6, a size 10/12 and got in in small. She says it's really comfortable. It looks lovely on her.

WavingTree · 04/07/2024 15:36

I like it and don’t think it looks cheap and nasty at all.

Meraas · 04/07/2024 16:13

Asda clothes are far inferior to F&F at Tesco I find. You find lots of 100% cotton or linen at Tesco.

I haven't bought anything Asda, had a browse last week and couldn't see one nice thing.

Yes I mostly agree. I had a look in my local one and their Women's summer range had about one awful dress, and the rest just t-shirts! And trousers/jeans. Not even a real selection

Their boys clothes are often lovely though (love them for my DS age 7)
