Help. I look like I'm on TV AM in the 80's

I don't know how it's happened but since cutting my hair a few years ago I look like Anne Diamond. No matter what cut I get it reverts back to Anne Diamond

Do I buy some natty knitwear and embrace it? or do you have any suggestions for fine, short hair to look a bit more 21st century and less 1980's mum

Sorry OP, not helpful but I can't stop laughing at your predicament!
Could you stop cutting it for a while? Just deal with it growing out until you get some length back then have it trimmed by a hairdresser who doesn't specialise in 'Anne Diamond Circa 1980'?

Ironically.. I'd have loved an Anne Diamond look in the 80's. My mum permed my hair and only knew 1 method so i looked like Hyacinth Bouquet in a school uniform. 😂May need to rethink my username !
