What would you pack for a four day city break in Spain?

But of travel, sightseeing, not too much call for going out clothes.

I have one pair of shorts, some linen trousers, maxi skirt, vest tops and a couple of dresses.

I have walking sandals (that look nice) and comfy trainers.

How many outfits/combos do I need?

Don't seem to have anything suitable for the plane unless it's linen trousers but then they'll be creased before I'm even there 😂

What's your capsule wardrobe formula? 😬

Thanks so much everyone, I really appreciate all the replies!

For more context I'm menopausal, very aware that a wrong step wardrobe wise can put all the focus on my stomach 😂 and quite plagued with anxiety. Oh and I'm going on my own - I've travelled a lot before but never on my own for the whole trip 😎

Thank you all for being so kind, practical and sensible and not laughing at me 💖

@suki1964 I like those trousers, been looking for something like that but I'm very short and allergic to sewing 😂
I've tried many a petite dress and a trouser lately but a lot of petite stuff is still quite long. Cropped things sometimes just look wrong. Might have a look when I'm in Spain!

Oh and I think I've followed the collective advice quite well - my anxiety insisted that I bring both maxi skirts though 😂 luckily one folds up really small!

I'd ditch the trainers. It'll be too hot to wear them. I'd take the comfy walking sandals and maybe another pair of sandals too.
Lots of people saying dresses but personally I prefer tops and bottoms so you can mix and match for more options.
I'd just take 2 pairs of shorts and one long skirt and then a few vests/t-shirts.
And something warm for the plane like a cardi or sweatshirt.
