I keep seeing ads on social media for wavy hair products & wondered if anyone has any recommendations? MerWave is one that pops up daily it seems but they’re expensive which I don’t mind as long as it’s effective and I don’t waste money.

My fine hair is wavy and I generally use either Aveda Be Curly or Living Proof for Curls (which they recommend for wavy to coily hair). The latter is slightly better but still end up with frizz at the ends & the top layers kind of flat, with all my nice waves underneath 🤦‍♀️ I let my hair air dry & only comb it through when applying conditioner.

Avoid silicone. It weighs down your curls.
I use cantu products for mine which are cheap if you buy the large bottles.
It's definitely worth watching the videos for the expensive products because they show you how to use products whatever you use.

I love merwave. Been using it for 2 months and ordered more shampoo and conditioner

My hair has never looked better

@Loafbeginsat60 Do you use any of their styling products? Or do you just use the shampoo & conditioner?

I have tried various but the best so far is a cheap refillable shampoo, faith in nature grapefruit conditioner and then rub through some ecoslay orange marmalade flaxseed gel. Then press out excess water in a towel and leave to air dry. The ecoslay stuff isn’t cheap but lasts ages and is the best thing I’ve found for just washing and leaving without either crispy hair or frizz

I got the 5 step kit and it's really good. I don't dry it just comb it in the shower then scrunch the mouse and put the gel in.
Once it's dry you scrunch/clap(!) the crunch out and it looks beautiful. I've never worn my hair wavy before as it's frizz central but I've had so many compliments since!
