Hair advice please

I have a fair amount of grey in my hair, natural colour is light brown.

I used to dye it myself but for the last year or so been having highlights at the hairdressers. So roots are more blended with the grey.

I’m not entirely happy with how it looks though, maybe because I’ve been used to the one colour look for so many years.

Any advice please?

Thanks @Pandaandpurple! I’ve mentioned having a block colour to the hairdresser but she says I’ll be back to the roots issue.

I feel like I have the roots issue anyway, currently have half head/full head alternately every six weeks. It’s a lot of money for something I don’t love!

I have a root colour/highlights once or twice a year and top it up with root touch up in between which I do myself. Takes 30 mins and costs £7.
