We are off on a family trip to NY next week and forecast is high 20’s. We are doing normal sightseeing (walking tours, moma, baseball, museums ) and theatre and jazz club. I was assuming during the day shorts / T shirts / trainers will be ok and slightly smarter but not too dressy for the evening? Or would I be better with longer trousers during the day? Any other tips for a style tourist who will be walking a lot around a hot NYC?
