There have been numberous crochets items worn by celebrities and fashion gurus for a good while now, but this week the Guardian jumped the shark -

That's hilarious. I can just see DH's face if I bought him that, even if it cost a fiver. Newspaper style columns are always a bit bonkers though. Some of the Balenciaga stuff is beyond a joke. I've no idea who would want that. Harry Styles? He's got better taste I think.
The painter who painted that red portrait of the King was on some chat show in the week (The One Show?) and he was wearing a crocheted shirt. It looked daft, (too try-hard) but not as daft as in your picture!

I adore SS Daley - have been waiting for a Women’s collection for an age, and I’d be delighted to glimpse a man wearing any of the clothes on the website. Personally I think the tabard would probably be better without the shirt underneath, worn more like a rather fancy vest on hot days and holidays.

Personally I think the tabard would probably be better without the shirt underneath, worn more like a rather fancy vest on hot days and holidays.
