Comfortable enough to wear on the commute to work!

I'm currently still in trainers but I need something a bit smarter for work meetings and I love the look of these but would worry they would wreck my feet!

Would these be smart enough? I have recently discovered Moshulu. They have a variety of Mary Jane style shoes, and they are having a sale at the moment.

I got gold ones from (I'm afraid) Hotter, for £30, a week ago. Very comfy and not all that bad to look at.

I think these types of shoes are very comfortable @Zigzagga unless you have to walk very far, in which case I prefer trainers as they have some cushioning.

The children's/youth range at clark's goes up to an adult size 8, in other shops you might be able to get in the children's range too so it's good value.

Moshulu are good shoes, I have a pair I bought 15 years ago. Had new buckle on them and resoled - still good to go. My only mistake was not buying another pair in a different colour

I have these ones too. Love them and amazingly they fit my super wide feet (which never happens!)

Get the Fitflop ones which have proper supportive soles but they don't look any different from the outside.

Why not just take a pair of nicer shoes to put on at work or for meetings? These sort of shoes do nothing to flatter my shortish legs and I find them really uncomfortable but maybe you are of willowy proportions with feet of steel!
