'Breathable' moisturiser pre gym

I go to gym classes early mornings. If I moisturise, I can't sweat and feel uncomfortable. If don't moisturise, my face feels tight. Any suggestions please?

Simple Light moisturiser. I've never had a problem with it feeling occlusive.

How about a decent hydrating spray toner? The elemis apricot toner is lovely and might have just enough to stop your skin feeling tight without being heavy on your skin at all.

I’d say maybe it’s your night time regime to review so that your skin is moisturised enough not to need moisturiser until after you shower post gym.

I use a serum before running instead - good enough to stop that tight feeling but not uncomfortable like moisturiser. I then slap on the moisturiser / day cream after my shower.

Lots of ideas,thank you.

I use a few from the Boots Ingredients range, so before a run will just pick one of them! The 3 I regularly use are vitamin c, hyaluronic acid and a collagen serum.

For such a basic range, these serums are great, they've really changed my skin. Normal morning routine is to put 2 of them on, followed by day cream. The other one then gets put on at night. On a run day, I'll still do the 2 serums but one goes on before the run, the other afterwards.
