What to wear for hospitality box Foo Fighters?

I've been gifted gold package tickets to see the Foo Fighters at Villa Park. I'm a regular gig attender but you'll normally find me somewhere in standing near the front! I've never been in an executive/hospitality box. I'm having a last minute panic about what to wear. Dress code says smart/casual.

My thoughts are plain black t-shirt or nice strappy black top and midi length leopard print skirt. Not sure about footwear though. Are white trainers be OK?

I normally only have to worry about waterproofs and just wear my DMs! Not sure if DMs will be OK but it's probably going to be too hot anyway.

Can anyone tell me what is or isn't appropriate or am I over thinking this?

But that outfit sounds fine

I think it's the trainers that I'm concerned about. I'm not sure if smart/casual would include white trainers.

My work dress code (City of London) is smart casual and the Execs are all inwhite trainers.

You're way over thinking this. Have fun.

Does the dress code apply to gigs? Or just football. I had hospitality at Anfield for TS and I'm sure 90% didn't align to dress code.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I probably am overthinking it. The dress codes online do look like they refer to match days but it's not very clear. Some say no jeans/trainers but surely people are going to wear trainers to a gig. Eeek can't wait!!

I am very envious, have fun!

Aw thanks! They were gifted because we couldn't make the last gig because of a last minute emergency, we were gutted! We are very grateful. Foos are one of my last bucket list gigs.

Been to similar events in the past.

Don't overthink it.

As long as you are not in clothes that are revealing or totally OTT it's fine.

It's a gig so wear appropriate clothes.

What you described is fine. I'd probably wear a top/ tee shirt (more specifically a FF tee shirt from a previous gig I have), cropped black jeans and trainers (not running style more fashion).

You are not going to be expected to be fully frocked any more than men attending should wear a shirt and tie.
