Swimming costume... argh!

Right - I'm going on holiday in August.

I have a swimming costume but it's more like a wetsuit, it is black and it has legs that come down to just above the knee, very much a functional item.

It has just occurred to me that I might want something a bit more... fun... for our holiday.

Looking for something that will flatter my post (two) baby body. I'm no model. Big bottom/hips and smaller waist, small breasts and I have quite a mum tum.

I really don't want anything super high cut around the legs and I want my arse cheeks fully covered. I'd quite like bright colours.

Any recommendations/places to look?

Also beach coverups? Where's good for these?

I haven't been abroad on holidays since 2018 and I feel very out of practice.

Also, as an aside - why do they never advertise swimwear on pasty skin?

I'm so pale and pasty. I cannot relate to sunkissed models... 😅

I prefer swim dresses. Covers thighs.
Especially magisculpt.
Ambrose Wilson have plenty.
Plus cover ups and beach wear.

Can't really advise on swimsuits, I'm 57 and a bit fat but I tend to wear Freya bikinis, they're not too skimpy and quite supportive. For beach cover-ups I've found Next to be really good, simple linen-mix ones, perfect for wearing to lunch and not expensive.

Pour moi swimsuits have a range of styles to suit bums, tums and boobs, and lots of pretty patterns. Often get outlet on eBay. They're quite true to size and not too high cut
