Billabong etc ones look cute on surfer boys, but not addidas or nike ones!

I like hoodies for ds. Never logo-ed and in nice colours. From gap (without GAP on front) or boden.
he is only 2.5

i like hoodies on my 4 year old... very warm and snug....
gap and next ones here and sometimes george

Yes. No detachable hood to be yanked off and lost and no hats to be cast off when I'm not looking.

nappyaddict · 10/04/2008 07:30

FBS - didn't really mean branded ones (both makes too expensive for me!) just meant any old hooded sweatshirt or zip up top really from next etc

Nothing wrong with hoodies imo, apart from the sport branded ones like nike and adidas.

DS has quite a few, non logoes, and so do I. I live in a university town and every other persn wears one with the university's name on it, even little kids.

Mine are mostly form sports clubs I belong to and my old universities too.

ChairmumMiaow · 10/04/2008 07:42

DS (11 weeks) wears lots of hoodies - he hates hats and a nice hood normally works just as well. It helps that every baby jacket around has a hood!

2point4kids · 10/04/2008 07:44

DS1 wears them. He is 2.6
Nice bright coloured ones from Next or Gap look lovely I think

cremolafoam · 10/04/2008 07:45

yes it is the ony think that dd will wear that is 'warm'. will not wear knitwear or fleeces so we are stuck with oodies.currently liking Emily the strange and anything with stars on.

wordgirl · 10/04/2008 07:51

My DSs live in them. DS3's school uniform is even a hoodie!

belgo · 10/04/2008 07:59

I love hoodies on my dds aged two and four. My mum calls though little hoodlums

Anna8888 · 10/04/2008 12:11

My stepsons love them and have very funky ones from Replay and Bellerose.

MamaG · 10/04/2008 12:14

My son wears Gap, Nike, Adidas, Puma hoodies etc because we get them cheaply, they are warm and practical. Christ, are we branding the under fives with the 'c' word now, too?
