A long lasting, easy to use, smudge free eye liner?

So far I’ve tried Bobbi Brown and Clinique. Both give a good look but after 4 hours I’ve got panda eyes.
I’m looking for a pencil or gel, the little pots with brushes are beyond me.

Kat von D. Larger Boots stock them. Sort of a gel pencil, once you've smudged them they just don't budge.

L’Oréal gel infallible liners are brilliant- haven’t even moved the next day if I forget to take my makeup off. Everything I used previously smudged on me

They won best eyeliner from Good Housekeeping this year, for not budging or smudging - they test the eyeliners in lab conditions

You apply it and then smudge with the little spongy bit on the end of the pencil - very easy to apply

L’Oreal infallible has not been a success for me. A combination of hayfever, contact lenses and hot weather and probably trying to tightline and within 2 hours it had smudged badly under my eyes.
I found the stub of an old Laura Mercier so will try that tomorrow but I remember it being not long lasting.

Love this one too (contact lens wearer).
