Tops to wear with shorts - plus size

I live in dresses during the summer, but not always practical when running about after the kids or going on a walk.

I want some nice casual tops which aren't just boring t shirts to wear with denim or linen shorts. All the styling I'm seeing at the moment even for plus size seems to be crop tops, or tucked in which is no good for my mum tum, I like to cover up the belly.

Any suggestions please?

As co-ords are fashionable this year I’d pick oversize pyjama type shirts that match or look as like as possible to your shorts. (Definitely don’t tuck in!)

Oh OK. Just been googling some co ord sets, I think I can get on board, wouldn't be my usual choice as they do look a bit pajamary.

They don’t have to look like pyjamas. It just means if you buy some denim shorts you buy a coordinating short sleeved shirt to wear over them.

I loke the look of an open shirt with a crop top underneath, but would definitely not subject the world to that 🤣
