Face moisturiser recommendations for dry/ sensitive skin

Hi

peri menopause is totally messing with my skin. My skin has gone really dry and I seem to be reacting to my normal face moisturiser. I’ve been using ceraphil.

Any recommendations? Not mega bucks, budget up to 50 quid at a push.

thanks ☺️

You don't need to spend much on a moisturizer. It has just the one job to do and the top ingredients in any decent moisturiser are as cheap as chips, glycerin, squalane, hyaluronic acid etc.

CeraVe, Weleda Skin Food, Blue pot Nivea, Astral all great for dry skin. I use Nivea or Astral at night and La Roche Posay Toleriane riche in the day.

Clairns double pump serum is good.
Nivea
Simple

Fruit/veg/water and epsom salts in a bath once a week.

Hope that helps from another peri dry skin person Grin

Someone on here recommended Child's Farm, which is for babies but is amazing for sensitive skin and inexpensive

I've got super dry skin and love nutmeg moisturiser from Morrisons it's a quid! Pink tube, own brand.
Ive tried loads, but really ike it and agree with other more water , more veg / fruit less sodium and less processed food

Nivea Soft in the morning and Nivea Blue at night.

Have recently bought the Revolution miracle pro day and night moisturiser and it's brilliant. Apparently it's a dupe for the Charlotte Tillbury moisturiser.

I always go back to old fashioned blue Nivea.

Iva head creme de la mer bought for me as a present and to me it just seems like blue Nivea.

@Stressedgiraffe I did not have the same experience and had to go back to CT Magic Cream. Annoying as I bought three tubs of the revolution cream!!

Superdrug Vitamin C Moisture Gel. It is cheap and has saved by horrible dry flaky skin.

Expensive, but I think there's a 20% off event just now which takes it to about £50... Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream. Best thing I've ever used.
