Need to have "cocktail" dress for an event with Royals - I'm in my 60s - where can I rent something and what kind of thing am I looking for? Help!

What's the event or what sort of event is it? Cocktail to me is above the knee. Does it specifically say cocktail or
That it's a cocktail party?

It says cocktail attire under dress code...

It's just billed as an evening event, it's business related, but obviously with some high profile guests
