Two weeks to look and feel my best

Family event coming up in 2 weeks and… let’s just say I am not feeling my best. I haven’t lost the weight that I would have liked to, and now I am fighting the urge to basically starve myself until the event… so I’d like to know of any suggestions you might have on how to make myself look and feel like the best version of myself?
Any suggestions welcome and will be considered!
I already have my outfit planned and I will have professional hair and make up on the day so it’s more about how I can prep to be the best version of me… thanks in advance!

Low carb, lots of protein and veggies for all your meals. No snacking/sugary treats etc. 2l of water a day. Minimal/no alcohol.

Put your phone in another room when you go to bed (if you dont do this already!) and aim for 8 hours a night.

10,000 steps a day, and some light yoga or stretching each morning- there are things you can follow on YouTube. Try and get some sunlight on your face every day first thing (with SPF on!)

Its not the time to radically overhaul your skincare routine as that can cause breakouts or other reactions, but just make sure you're doing yours in whatever form that is!

Honestly in 2 weeks there isn't a great deal you can do to how you look, but the above will make you feel better which is half the battle with feeling confident.

I am in the process of doing this and have one week left. I’m doing 10000 steps a day, teeth scale and polish/whitening, manicure and pedicure, Olaplex treatment for hair, vitamin jabs, 3 day juice diet (and generally trying to eat at least 7 veggies/fruit a day and cut out sugar and junk, alcohol and have only one coffee a day), tretinoin every night for face and neck, dry brushing my body and epsom salt baths. Might also book a course of Caci facials to tighten up the old face. Oh, and will dye my brows and lashes at home. I have been using lash and brow serum for years, so they are in good shape anyway. You might also want to use gradual tanner? And don’t forget to drink enough water… Good luck! I’m sure you will look fabulous.

Eat well

Sleep well

Drink water

Exercise a bit

Lift some weights

Get your brows done

Get your teeth professionally whitened

Get a gentle spray tan

add mani and pedi to the list

Thanks all! I am adding all of these things to my list. Confidence is a massive part of it, I just want to feel good on the day!

All good advice, and quite gentle changes for good results. Rather than focus on the two weeks before the big event, how would you feel about adopting these simple things as habits, just things that you always do.

Then, the next time a big events crops up you will find yourself looking forward to it so much more. Enjoy.

I think this is very wise. For various reasons my confidence isn’t great right now and that’s a long term thing rather than a 2 week miracle for sure :)

Don't eat after dinner, moisturise after a bath, start doing some lunges, squats, sit ups etc, walk 30 mins - an hour a day.

I've started doing all of the above recently and I do feel a lot better about myself
