Was on holiday last week in Dorset and discovered the new White Stuff store.
I was really impressed, have only been in the Chester one before and online, but the clothes in there this season are lovely.
Loads of cotton and linen skirts in flattering shapes and designs, dresses, tops etc.
Succumbed and bought a dress, skirt and linen cardigan.
Prices much more reasonable than Boden too,and not as 'surfer youth' as Fat Face.
Very impressed.

I got my parcel of White Stuff I ordered today and I'm really pleased with it

Only thing is, I looked at the summer stuff they just added to their website and I'm now coveting this, this, and this.

I think I have found my spiritual home clothes wise, as I normally find it incredibly hard to find stuff I like.

SilentTerror · 09/04/2008 16:57

I agree Sputnick,my spiritual home as well!
Love that dress, and saw the cardi in Dorchester last week in a dusky blue colour.
I could have happily bought almost everything in the shop!

Blimey the website looks exactly the same as Fat Face!

ThingOne · 10/04/2008 18:43

But cod the wrap dresses are made of jersey and don't need ironing.

That dress is very nice - have fondled it IRL - but it needs ironing so I didn't buy it.

SilentTerror · 10/04/2008 18:58

Jersey sleeveless dress with tie that goes under the bust and ties at the back in a sea green pattern
Striped thin knit cotton tunic in blue/brown/cream
Butterfly pattern top
Sea green linen tie cardigan
Linen knee length skirt in cream/brown /blue pattern.
Unfortunately only butterfly top on website
(Riad tee)

Yep - I did a mega expensive White Stuff online shop last month & I'm really pleased with all of it. In fact I'm wearing a little White Stuff ensemble to go out in this evening.

I could have bought loads from their web site.

MaryAnnSingleton · 10/04/2008 19:06

White Stuff is much nicer than Fat Face,in my opinion

SilentTerror · 10/04/2008 19:10

Think White Stuff perhaps a bit more 'grown up' than Fat Face,or perhaps slightly dreesier,IFYSWIM.
I usually buy quite a few things from Boden each season, but have had only one cardigan and the spotty dress this year.

i don't get their website

some of the stuff in-=store now is under 'summer preview' online

SilentTerror · 10/04/2008 19:14

Yes Tutter, quite a lot of different stuff in shops to online.

ThingOne, it needs ironing [gutted]
I may get it anyway, and try to remember where I put the iron.

Sputnik · 10/04/2008 20:21

Actually, I'm sure drying on a hanger would be sufficient.

ThingOne · 10/04/2008 22:51

Well that is all it would get around here. Have cleaner who will iron shirts but would not be keen to do my frocks. Having cleaner doing some ironing obviously better than cleaner leaving as pissed off ;).
