Bad shopping experience in Uniqlo. Anyone else?

I went shopping in Uniqlo today. I tried on about 30 items, but nothing fitted right around my arms and body. I only bought socks.

I am a size 12 in most shops. I am 5'4 but if things are too long it's not an issue - I just hem them. I am late 30s.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Yes, but in other shops. Not every shop/brand is going to have style/cut/sizing that suits everyone.

Uniqlo stuff isn’t generally right for me but occasionally I find a gem. I find the colours too sludgy (usually cool), the rises too high, and a lot of it is too baggy and shapeless for me even sized down (also about 5”4, size 10). They are good at using natural fabrics and I think their down coats and gilets are good.
