What skin type do I have if my skin likes Nivea?

My skin isn't oily or dry. But is very spot prone! Anything labelled as being good for acne ruins my skin and makes it dry and spotty Envy

Anything for radiance etc does the same.

I have been blemish free for 6 weeks now - I have been using Nivea (one in a blue pot), and this Korean face wash. It's called mayoo and it's a yellow tube. And a Korean retinol serum twice a week. My skin seems to drink it up

No change in make up.

If my skin likes the blue Nivea, what's my skin type? I imaged this would bring me out in awful spots but my skin is radiant and spot free

Your skin sounds like 'normal' skin, are your blemishes hormonal?

It seems you've found the right skincare for your skin type so long may it continue!

I love blue nivea lotion (not the cream) but can't find it anywhere other than Amazon bulk buy. I'd micellar water all my make up off, smother my face in Nivea lotion and remove with a hot flannel, my skin glowed, seriously it was amazing.

I would say normal balanced skin. Maybe the other skincare you've tried was too harsh or one of the ingredients may have irritated causing the spots? I also like Nivea cream I've got quite dry skin though some out loads on when I use it!

I love Nivea. I watch loads of TikTok’s where young girls discover the miraculous power of dark-blue Nivea. They often mix a bit with rosehip oil and slap it on. I’ve tried that, it’s good.

they also all love Astral cream. I bought a huge (£9, Superdrug) pot if that and it’s lovely. Goes on easier than Nivea.

I have sensitive skin so I'm very careful what I put on my face and blue pot Nivea is one of the very few moisturisers I can tolerate, which is weird because it's so highly perfumed. That doesn't help identify your skin type op but the main thing is it works!

Incidentally I've also tried Astral and the smell alone made my face itch so it's definitely not the same stuff.

Nivea and Astral are both excellent, but no, not the same.
Nivea has panthenol and eucerit as well as the simple emollients.

@LuxuryWoman2020 my Mum taught me how to cleanse my face using Nivea lotion back in the 70s. Might get some for that Proustian hit. ❤️

@Floisme please can I ask which other moisturizers and cleansers you use that are fine with your sensitive skin? Sensitive and reactive skin here!

Oh it’s definitely not the same stuff at all. But it’s also (like Nivea) loved by the young TikTok girls.
