Has anyone had their lip filler dissolved?

I've had a small amount of lip filler injected once every 2-3 years for the past 9 years, so perhaps only had it about three times in total, but my body seems to hold onto it quite persistently. Whilst I quite like the effect on my lips and upper lip in particular (which was previously almost non-existent), I feel like there is something about the filler which is drawing attention to my nasolabial folds and marionette lines, and this is the part that's making me unhappy.

Quite possibly I'm deluding myself and these have just crept on naturally with age, but as the lines deepen and everything slowly seems to be heading south, I can't help but feel the filler is giving everything in my lower-face region a bit of a "puffy" look. Almost like the entire area surrounding my mouth right up to the nasolabial folds is slightly swollen and protruding forwards, drawing attention to the general saggyness of my lower face and how deep the lines are.

Has anyone noticed something similar and seen any improvement after having their filler dissolved? I don't want to clutch at straws but I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has experienced the same?

I will go down overtime. I had Juvferm ultra three injected 3 years ago and I didn’t realise at the time that this was such a thick filler it’s still there my lips never went down
I did have it done again just to top up and I regretted it because now my lips are protruding I did think about having them dissolved, but I did not want to dissolve my natural hyaluronic acid in my lip tissue as the dissolver does that too
you could have been dissolved a tiny bit at a time, rather than all at once
if you ever get them again, I suggest you go for a thin filler which is not very cross-linked. It will look very natural then - restylane is best as it’s not hydrophilic ie doesn’t hang onto water - other filters, make your lips look swollen every now and again because they are hydrophilic
I was also told by a surgeon/doctor that if he massages them quite vigourously, he can also break down the filler , but it will be quite uncomfortable
The more you exercise, the more your body will get rid of it. I suggest doing some exercise and just massage them vigorously daily for a couple of weeks and then see how they look
failing that, you can just get them dissolved a little bit
mini injectors these days, don’t really know how to inject properly so your lips are protruding -lip filler is supposed to make your lips look flat and u suspect injected you with a thick filler

When did you last have treatment?
If you're not having it often it's likely most has dissolved itself and as you say it is infact the "joy" of aging that you're noticing.
