dd (5) has long narrow feet - she's just moved into a 13 but needs an E fitting - I wanted to get her some doodles for summer, but the problem is the narrowest fitting Clarks make for size 13 upwards is F which dd just walks out of

any ideas where I can get narrow-fitting canvas doodles-type shoes - last year the clarks fitted her better than the start-rite version which were very gape-y on her - any of the standard width fitting shoes from mothercare, next etc are hopeless for her

Go to an independent retailer that has a selection of brands, eg Clarks, Start-Right, Scetchers, etc.

Clarks don't do them in her size, skechers don't have different width fittings and the start-rite aren't a good fit on her - any other ideas please??

hi there, i work in an independant shoe shop in scotland and to be honest you will struggle to get any width fittings bar startrite and clarks, we do startrite and do the canvas shoes in a variety of width fittings (c, d, e, f and g) contact your local startrite shop and ask them, they should be able to order in for you, we certainly do. There are a lot of european makes that are narrow, which we stock, but have never seen canvas shoes from them
good luck
