Hair removal - for young teen

DD is almost 13 and wants to remove her hair. She’s not that hairy but I can see that this is ‘what all the girls are doing’ and I don’t want to fight her on it seeing as I too shave.

what’s a good method though for this age? Are there any of those mitt things that actually work? As a teen it was hair removal cream (stinky!) for me and then straight to shaving. I rarely wax as I’m not overly hairy and I am fair. She asked for waxing but that seems extravagant! Or is home wax better these days?

What body parts? She may change her tune once she realizes how painful waxing is. If it is just underarms, then I would suggest laser for someone young; pay now but reap the rewards forever!

My daughter is 14 and wants to be rid of her hair. I've told her to never shave, and although I've waxed since 13, I've now invested in a Ulike hair removal laser for us both and can't recommend it enough! It's been 5 weeks, every other day-ish, and there's hardly any regrowth. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner, I'd have saved myself a fortune! It won't work on fair hair though, so it depends on how dark she is.

Lady shave is the easiest I'd say.

Lady shave at that age, safer and just inexpensive off cost. Waxing etc is for once they have own money! Most salons won't touch under 16 anyway

Thank you. I think her hair is too fair / not coarse enough for laser. Mine isn’t either so it would be a waste I think but I’ll look into it.

At the moment she’s only fussed about her legs, underarms will be next I’m certain!

Waxing is good, as it weakens the hair over time.

Shaving also fine if her legs are not very hairy.

Hi. My 9 year old girl is very hairy as has started getting armpit hairs, hairs on her arms, legs and also her back. She wants me to get rid of her hairs as she wants tomwear summer dresses. Can anyone recommend the easiest and effective hair removal for young girls? Not a fan of shaving please. Can I start waxing? Also will her hairs grow back fast? She hasn’t started puberty yet
