Indian Wedding Outfit needed but plus sized!

I have an Indian wedding to go to but am plus sized. At least a size 22 with huge boobs and an awful post-partum apron belly. I'm finding it very difficult to find anything to wear. My husband is Indian and the last few family events I've been to I've had something made, but I've left it too late this time and need to get something! Can anyone recommend any websites? The last time I went shopping in London to try and get something for another family wedding with my husband and my sister in law it was such an awful experience with comments made about my weight in several of the shops I'd rather buy online if possible!

Heya, what type of outfit are you looking for/what event. You could make an indo/western style outfit. I wore a dress and top and just bought a 'chunni'/scarf to match the outfit and it looked 'indian' also how about a maxi dress? And again just buy a scarf that matches it. You could get a sequin maxi dress. Sorry I can't really recommend online website for indian clothes. I did go to southall last month and bought myself a few outfits.

Might be something on here OP. I've got two of their garments (kurta, not wedding type garment) just because I love that kind of loose tunic kind of dress over trousers. They are fab quality and were very good value.

Yep, totally get you. I went Indian clothes shopping in West London last week, came home feeling so crap about myself. These dumb men, and they nearly almost all are men, making comments. One even said that I must be eating my DD's food too as she's so slim. WELL. I went in on them as I just can't get over the absolute audacity. Working in an industry where you are dealing with women and making such comments.....RUDE
Sadly, I do think this is just indicative of this culture.
Really though, I know it's super expensive but the higher end shops are great, experience wise and also getting something that's fits really well.
Online, try Like A Diva x

An anarkali dress style would be flattering for your shape.
