I have one pair like this. When done right these shoes look gorgeous and are very comfortable (the top is soft/flexible so it won't hurt your toes). This one is crap though.

I like the Loewe ones, they could double up as a duster, so useful.

Look at the rest of the clothes on their website though. In the same style as the shoes.

Showing my age here, but in the early 1970s there was a fashion for boots that were essentially shoes worn over knee-length socks - made from the same plastic as the shoes. Can't find any pictures online these are about as near as I can get. Those shoes are so reminiscent of those boots ...
