dress or jumpsuit for 70s/80s disco?

I'm going to a 70s/80s night two weekends in a row (one is a club night, one is someone's birthday). Can anyone point me in the direction of a longish dress, jumpsuit or otherwise flattering party outfit?

I'm size 16, mid height, short thick legs best covered up (so not a mini skirt). Greens and pinks often suit me but could be any colours. Could even be sparkly. Budget - would go up to £300ish for the right thing, but would prefer a bit cheaper.
Your stylish recommendations much appreciated.
