Really fancy some hair extensions. Any tips? Also a rough idea of how much I should be looking to pay. My hair is in a bob atm adn is about 9 inches long at its longest

Do you mean having them done professionally or buying some yourself?

having them done professionally

I was quoted £676 to have mine done (apparently the "best" quality ones available - used by Jennifer Anniston etc.). To be honest, for that much, I'd want more her bloody face and figure as well !

Mine is also bobbed but is quite thick (which makes a big difference to the price)

I make my own and use tape they stay in for about 12wks then I just put them in again! The bonded type can damage your hair,I am a hairdresser and have trained to do extensions, a bob is very hard to disguise as it has a definate line and can look strange if not enough hair is put in be sure to look at photos of the salons work if you decide to go ahead.

I haven't got £700 so I guess that's out of the question then

My hair is also very thick so I spose it would cost loads like yours.

Thanks for your replies- at least I know now and can forget the idea
