French polish on toenails??

I love a good fresh set of French nails and currently have them for a special event next week (mainly to play it safe as by the time I had my nails done, I hadn’t decided what I was going to be wearing). I have now and will have open toe heeled sandals. I’m going back to my nail place the day before the event for my toes to be done and lovely nail girl has suggested matching toes. What do we all think of French on toes?? I think it might be a bit weird…and googling images tonight has done nothing but consolidate that feeling! A bit like toes trying to be fingers! Am I being odd and it’s quite normal? The other option is just to have the nude pink colour but not the tips, which I’m swaying towards unless you all tell me I’m being ridiculous and French toenails are all the rage! 🤷🏼‍♀️ 😂

French toenails horrify me, OP - I prefer your nude suggestion!

I think they’re awful too especially if the toenails are a bit longer 🤢 nude a MUCH better idea!

Don't do it. They look really tacky.

They give me the heebie jeebies. The nude pink sounds much nicer.

I love a French polish on a toe nail, mine are four weeks old now, so need redoing, apologies for cuticles, they need redoing too!

I personally can't stand French nails. To me, they look tacky, especially on the feet.

Ugh I hate French tips on toes...its been around for years but always gives me the ick when I see it!

I think what bothers me is that with the white tip etc you're emphasising long nails on your hands when you have it- the white tip is emphasised. So for that to be done on your feet is just so weird to me- why would you want to have (or to make it look like you have) long toe nails? 😱

I also really dislike them - not even that keen on them on hands.

They always, always, always look as though the toenails need a trim. Absolutely awful. 🤢

Another no, I think they look awful too, a plain nude is much better.

Gross. Toenails are generally kept as short as possible, so why you'd want to paint on the white bits to make them look overgrown is beyond me 🤮
