Where are your favourite / most worn dresses / outfits from?

Also please describe it.

Just for inspiration when I'm shopping, as I have a few which get worn to death and then some which just sit there!

Mine is a Midi dress from Toast. It has a bright print on a navy background and it somehow is muted enough for winter but also summery when worn without tights. I love it

Least worn (but I can't bring myself to get rid of it) is a white lacy dress from In The Style

Most worn?

Currently, to my annoyance, a dark moss coloured merino wool jumper by Studio Nicholson. High neck and split sides, at least five or six years old. It’s a beautiful thing and I love it very much, but somehow can’t seem to stop wearing it even in the middle of Summer. (I’m wearing it today. Hmm)

With some slightly too pale green Raey chinos. Very heavy cotton, very wide, cropped. Again slightly beyond their time but I seem to reach for them whenever I don’t need to be wearing anything more specific. In fact they’re so worn they’re ripped at the side and held up with an unsuitable belt.

Least worn?

A black Rick Owens pencil skirt. There’s no way I’m getting rid of it …

unfortunately, my most worn item (straight jeans) is not my favourite.

Have posted about not being able to find quality clothes, and wearing my old Artigiano and old Jaeger (not the new stuff) - the thing is, I am trying to preserve them, save them for when I am going somewhere special.
A pair of Jaeger silk and linen cropped trousers (20 years old, but look like today's fashion)
A burgundy wrap dress, midi with a V neck and long sleeves
I suppose my most worn replaceables are my JL crew neck cashmere jumpers, 6 different colours, worn on repeat all winter.

I love Joules and Fat Face dresses at the moment. The long ones seem to be really nice. They always fit nicely and wash well and don’t break the bank either. I’ve been wearing this one recently and got quite a few compliments. Its looks nice with a long coat and boots in the winter weather too.

Embarrassingly it's the leggings from this post with pockets.

The buttery Amazon leggings!! http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/styleandd_beauty/5019977-the-buttery-amazon-leggings

I've not been feeling well and they're so comfortable and soft.

I bought a maxi dress from M & S when they collaborated with Ghost. It's quite heavy cotton in a navy print but it is the best cut dress I've ever owned and so very comfy. It's been worn to 2 evening wedding receptions, work, days out and I even wore it to my Dad's ashes interment as I was determined not to wear black.

No shame in leggings @GargoylesofBeelzebub! I'm wearing some now under my dress as it's freezing
