Warning! Festival Stall is a scam!

Word of warning! A couple of weeks ago, someone on here recommended Festival Stall as a good source of Summer clothing. DO NOT buy from them, they are scammers. I ordered 2 items, have only received one. The item I did receive is not as described and absolutely stinks. Their website states returns must be arranged with them via email. I have spent the last month emailing them about arranging a return and the missing item. They are blatantly ignoring my emails. Can find no other way to contact them so that's 40 quid down the drain. Hope I can prevent as many other people as possible from falling for the same scam!

@MaidOfAle Not really. I was scammed out of 1k in my own home due to not checking something online, so am VERY cautious now.

To start a return, you MUST contact us at [email protected].
If your return is accepted, we'll as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and sent back. This does not affect the initial refund time.

That's absolute bollocks. Distance selling rules don't require you to get approval before you can return items.

Compare with this website. It has detailed instructions of where to return, including the ability to download and print your return sheet ( although there's always a return sheet included) and to download a prepaid tracked Royal Mail address label.

What the returns information should look like

I did not and that was my mistake, just trying to save others from making the same mistake.

Thanks for the warning. I hadn’t heard of them and I do make the odd impulsive purchase.
