Mixing 2 foundation shades together- anyone do this?

I know it's a big outlay but does anyone do this?

I have a real issue with getting the right shade especially since Bobbi Brown discontinued their Skin Foundation which I'd used for years.

I often find I'm just in between 2 shades with a lot of foundation - the lightest (too light) and the next one up (tiny bit too dark.)

Yea because I bought one which was very orange so bought another which is a bit pale for summer.

I have, a bit of a pain cause I'm lazy but it worked. You can get palettes on amazon for doing it hygienically

Yes I do. I have my winter one , then a slightly darker ‘tanned’ one that I blend in depending upon how much of a tan I get over the summer. So not done it at all so far this year …

I've done this for decades.

Yeah, I mix Laura Mercier's two lightest shades when I get a very slight bit of colour on my blue/white complexion in summer.
