“Your lids but better” no make up look eyeshadow?

I’m looking for an eyeshadow to use on low make up days. Something that evens out my eyelids and makes me look a little better, more awake, without adding too much colour. I am pale with a red/purple tone to my eyelids. My eyes are blue. I’ve tried so many shadows but none are right - too light, too sparkly even though they don’t look sparkly in packaging. Can anyone recommend a holy grail product and shade for this?!

Dr Perricone No Makeup eyeshadow, it comes in a few shades to match skin tones. It's a very lightweight formula that glides on (I just use my fingers, it's really idiot proof). Very subtle, as the name suggests, doesn't look like makeup, very much just like your own lids but better. It has a sort of brightening effect.

Try the MAC paint pots. Painterly is a good neutral shade.

I just put concealer on my eyelids. I look bruised without it.

Although my eyelids aren't visible with my eyes open , hence why I no longer bother with eyeshadow
