Are these bad highlights, and if so, why?

I think they are bad, my hairdresser doesn’t and has basically told me to go find someone else. If they are bad, what is making them bad, as in technically - too close to the root? Too thick? Too uniform? These photos are from the day they were done. I wanted really fine barely there beachy highlights. Just want to try and communicate better with my next hairdresser. Thanks.

I’ve just screenshotted this pic as it looks exactly like how I want mine. It’s so difficult to make sure you’re going to someone that has the same vision as you!

I just realised your original post was from June! I must have found it as I was looking for advice on if it’s unreasonable to cheat on my usual hairdresser by going to another stylist🙈. I’m taking your original ultra fine highlights as inspiration, and I hope you got your hair fixed to how you wanted it
