Help. Dd is 20 and has sensory issues she’s also trans (identifies as male). She wants longer combat short, men’s style but she has a big bottom and small waste so men’s are just not fitting her. Can anyone recommend some female fitting but masculine combat shorts?

Depends on the size you need but Yours might be worth a look.

Have a look at Decathlon. Seen similar shorts there.

30 waist, which I think is a 12 though she’s probably between a 10 and a 12.

I have some from Sports Direct that are made out of thick stretchy cotton, they are mens but as well as the elasticated waist they have a tie at the waist so they can be tightened. They also have two zip pockets which are very useful, you never get decent pockets in women's clothes🙄 so comfortable that i went back to get a second pair in a different colour, think they were only about £12.

Try Arket and maybe some of the sports shops, I have some Nike ones.

Sorry, ignore above. No elasticated waist (which my trousers do have!)

Uniqlo often have elasticated waist shorts. Getting a bigger size and getting them taken in at the waist is another option. Or wear them lower on the hips rather than trying to get them to fit at the waist.

That’s ok. They used to have ones that had elastic in the back but I think they have changed them. I have an old pair and love them (wear them a lot).
