Flattering trouser suit for short fat woman

I am short and fat. Around 5'4 or 5'5 and a size 22. I think you'd probably describe me as an apple shape.

I have a high profile event coming up with a very important presentation, and I am so self conscious about how I look. I want to invest in a good quality suit that will help me to feel my best but don't really know where to look. Does anyone have any suggestions?

But anyway … Have a look at the New Arrivals at Marina Rinaldi. I’ve linked the nicest fabric (scroll through photos for full effect) but they have plain tailored pieces as well which could be mixed as preferred.

Marina Rinaldi is a good shout, although pricey.

I've had good luck with Karen Millen for tailoring in the past, not huge amounts on their site right now but this blazer and trousers look nice.
