NotABanana · 06/04/2008 19:15

Update your underwear drawer.

Pannacotta · 06/04/2008 19:34

Lulumama, sorry but not sure the cut/style of the Boden mac is great for a pear shape, think a low neck wide collar A line would flatter more.
WIll have a look at M&S site and post back later.
Also agree that some lovely undies would be a great start, the "Body" range is super sleek and looks fab under fitted clothes.

PatsyCline · 06/04/2008 19:38

Perkin Warbeck, your name has taken me right back to A Level History and fond memories of a damn cute teacher. Sigh!

Lulumama · 06/04/2008 20:17

really pannacotta?

bought new undies last time i went shopping, now i need something to cover them !

thank you all

OP posts:
Pannacotta · 06/04/2008 20:47

Sorry Lulumama but think the Boden one looks a bit sporty/shapeless, I always think pear shaped women look better in really fitted, feminine clothes.
This is lovely, bit pale but really chic

DO you prefer skirts or trousers?

Pannacotta · 06/04/2008 20:56

This is very pretty and the colour is good

Lulumama · 06/04/2008 21:27

i like the mac a lot

tops are nice, but want a bit more wow factor!

i live in jeans, and i like maxi skirts too

thank you !

OP posts:
Pannacotta · 06/04/2008 21:35

Not sure M&S and wow factor really go together!!
Cant see any wow maxi skirts, sorry. Jeans you would need to try, as jeans cut is very personal/specific IMO.
Your best bet is prob the Autograph collection but again they are mainly quite understated...
Per Una often too frilly, but have no idea what you like style wise, other than bright and wow?!
How about some lovely shoes and skin care, they have fab skin care and make up these days?
For clothes I'd try Principles/Monsoon for colour and wow factor.

Lulumama · 06/04/2008 21:36

you are probably right ! i could do with shoes, i live in crocs and flip flops. so proper shoes might be good.

don;t worry, you have been really helpful x thank you , much appreciated

OP posts:
Lulumama · 06/04/2008 21:37

not sure i really have a style, you see !!

OP posts:
PerkinWarbeck · 06/04/2008 21:39

good shape
I like it. but will probably be in minority

Lulumama · 06/04/2008 21:42

it is very chic, but i would look like i was playing at dress up in it !

OP posts:
Pannacotta · 06/04/2008 21:42

Perkin that dress is trec chic, but not sure how useful?
Do think there is some fab stuff in the Autograph range but not much colour....
