What brands would you recommend if I were trying to economise? A little bit anyway - TIA

Rituals? I think it's a bit cheaper.

For what products?

I'm impressed with Aldi's Hotel Collection. It smells a lot like Jo Malone.

PrincessofWells · 02/06/2024 19:46

Clarins Tonic shower gel is lovely.

@Garlicnaan for bath/shower gel

Bayliss and Harding (I know, I know) have a 'Goodness' range which looks like it's trying to emulate Molton Brown, and is actually pretty good: https://baylisandharding.com/hand/goodness-hand-collection

Otherwise another vote for that M&S range.

Thing I find is Molten Brown lasts longer, so in the long run it's more economical. The smell also stays for longer.

I use Baylis and Harding Goodness range as well.

QVC sometimes has good offers on Molten Brown too.

@xxSideshowAuntSallyxx you are not helping 🤣🤣🤣 this is what I currently tell myself (and my DH)

Korres shower gel is great and probably coming around to their two-for-one deals.

Marinel · 03/06/2024 14:06

I've used the Marks and Spencer Molton Brown lookalikes and they are very similar, it's definitely worth trying those.

(I wish MN would stop automatically linking every mention of M/&S, it makes me not want to mention it.)

kitteninabasket · 03/06/2024 14:12

Another vote for Korres.

duc748 · 03/06/2024 14:29

IIJM but if I was marketing a range of shower gels etc, 'Molten Brown' is just about the last name I would have chosen. Yeuch! It doesn't seem to hurt them too much, though. I had some of that Baylis and Harding Goodness range at a hotel I stayed at recently, and thought it was lovely.

Brasstaps · 03/06/2024 14:38

Rituals and the M&S ranges.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 03/06/2024 15:35

I would say Korres too( often picked up at local TK maxx)

Imperial Leather, believe it or not, do a fab range - the bottles say ‘luxury fragrance’. I’m really fussy about scents, but these are really natural & luxe.

This is my favourite:

Their Bath Soak’s are very good too.
