Help with little black dress for graduation

After two days trawling the shops with DD looking for a dress for her graduation I am turning to the experts!
Can anyone please help find a dress similar to the attached which looked stunning on DD but was too long and wrong colour
In size 10, black and above the knee but not mini?
Any suggestions much appreciated

I don’t know whether she tried the petite or regular fit? Petite is available in John Lewis so may be a better length?
