Sézane quality and lack of reviews.

I really love the whole Sézane concept and style but ....... bought the La Chamade sweatshirt and really not impressed with the quality of it. I have washed it following the instructions and with a good quality detergent and it just looks a bit washed out, a bit streaky, a bit meh. It's the first duff thing I've had from them so I am not walking away but it has made me realise that they are one of the few websites I buy from that doesn't do customer reviews and now I am wondering why that is.

The FB group Sezane IRL contains customer reviews. The two items I’ve brought from Sezane have turned out to be duffs and as the group highlights how poorly made a lot of their products are Im now avoiding Sezane when I need to buy something new

That's such a shame, I've had my eye on a few pieces for a while but I won't risk it.

I bought a jumper from Sézane, was so excited and the quality was absolutely shite. Turned out to be man made fibre (which I’d not checked because at the price, of course I assumed it was wool), and it just went to shit after a couple of (very careful) washes. Never again.

Sézane is very hit and miss for me. Somethings are great others really poor, sizing is all over the place. Very easy to be seduced by how things look on the models and in reality they look completely different.

I love the shirts and blouses I have bought from them and the Will denim jacket is excellent. I have just ordered the Clyde coat but I did do quite a bit of research into it first. It's a shame, and maybe a bit telling, that they don't share customer reviews and you have to look elsewhere for feedback. I wasn't able to contact them through the app and had to use Instagram instead. They were, however, quick to reply and helpful.
