Frizzy, meh hair help

I had my hair cut into a bob last autumn, and it’s at a very awkward growing out stage where it’s a couple of inches above my shoulders, but still short enough that I can only really manage to just put it in a tiny low bun.

It’s also very frizzy. If I leave it to air dry, it has a nice wave to it, but gets tangled very easily and as soon as I brush it, it looks very wild and bushy.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend any hair products that might help my hair to keep a bit more of a curl/wave after I brush or comb it? Anything that might make it a bit sleeker or manageable would be amazing. I’m going on holiday next month and can only imagine the humidity/pool water won’t help either!

I have the Aveda damage remedy daily product which I put in my hair when slightly damp. I have found that I only need a little finger combed through before drying to help get defined curls. It’s expensive and I have had it for a while and I am not planning to rebuy. I have bought this to use after it’s finished in the hope that it does the same job https://www.boucleme.co.uk/products/curl-defining-gel

I occasionally double wash with voscene and then do a deep conditioning treatment with comb and this makes my occasionally blah and frizzy hair so v glossy.
