Calf length boots if you are 5 foot 2

Ladies - I am poised to spend a small fortune on some Fly London Mes 2 Buckle Boots which are mid calf length.

However I am short (5 foot 2) with stumpy little legs - are calf length boots going to be super unflattering on short legs ?? I can’t remember what the advice is - should I go for knee length instead or will calf length miraculously make my legs look longer??

Anything that cuts anyone mid calf whether its a dress or boots isn't going to be the most flattering.

I am same height and I either wear short ankle boots or knee highs. Calf length are not flattering on me at all.
