Off to royal ascot this year for the first time. I've ordered the dress but I don't know what hat colour or style to wear.
I've linked the dress any ideas welcome.

Do you have any idea of what colour jacket/ cover up you'll take as unless there's a heatwave you'll need something to wear over it?

Ohhh I haven't thought of that - also no idea (I'm not great with this stuff!)

It’s lovely but looks very impractical foe royal ascot.

Sorry but how is it impractical? OP only has to waft around enjoying herself, it's not like she will be running any races.

I would say cream and/or light green for headwear plus your warming layer. Try pashmina, shrug, cardigan style or unstructured jacket.

Re headwear you really just need to find something that suits you, because not all heads (and faces) suit all hats and fascinators, by any means!

Beautiful dress OP. Enjoy your swanky day🙂
