Big interview and need to box dye my hair by Monday, please help!

I've got a last minute interview for a senior position that I never in a million years thought I'd be shortlisted for. I need to box dye my hair as I can't get into any hairdressers, got about 1.5 inches of regrowth am 45, surgical menopause. Want to go for a honey blonde. Any recommendations? Pic of current mess!

I would not risk any kind of blonde box dye before an interview! Your hair doesn't look like a mess at all. If you're conscious about the regrowth could you try some of that root touch up stuff? Or at least if you really want to box dye it stick to the same colour it is now?

DONT DO IT - You look like you've red on your hair which can act weird when you add bleach or other colours. Also, your hair looks absolutely fine, dont worry about it. If you need a wee confidence boost with it what about a wee toner or semipermanent to freshen it up, and a good deep condition. if it's the roots concerning you style it wavy/curly to hide it a bit. Don't risk a bad box dye incident just before an important event! Good luck with the interview :)

Don’t risk trying to go blonde with a box dye before a big interview. If you must refresh it just do the roots with the shade you have on now.

I love a box due but wouldn't go for a drastic change.

Dye won't lighten dye. Just touch up your roots. Or leave it. Definitely step away from the bleach.

Agree with others - your hair looks completely fine and I wouldn't do a blonde box dye on your hair colour.

If you're really worried go for an updo of some kind - but don't risk colouring it in case it goes horribly wrong.

Put it back in a low ponytail brushing the hair back to hide the parting . Add some small interesting earrings if you wear them . Will look much more professional than a box dye that could go wrong !

Thanks all, took your advice and bought a toner and a posh headband to cover up the regrowth. Hope I can pull off the senior manager look 🙏🤞
