Birkenstock -wide or narrow with wide feet?

I orders some from office and they are have sent narrow - assume this must be the standard if you order from the women's bit but didn't realise?

However I have wide feet. These seem to fit ok but I'm slight out of the narrow range on the size guide. Concerned may have problems after wearing f in

I am a size 6 and for the 39 size 5.5 on their sizing (no size 6)

Would these be ok or should I I get the regular width?

I thought I’d be ok.

I ended up getting a monstrous agonising corn because of them.

I now need an operation on it.

The edges of the shoes rubbed on it.

On the Birkenstock website you can put your foot measurements in and it will tell you the size to get (you need a pen, a piece of paper and your feet!).

Narrow isn’t the standard fit for women. They must have sent you the wrong size. If you have wide feet you’re going to need the regular fit.

It's the standard size dispatched by office if you order from the women's section sadly!Confused

@ArseInTheCoOpWindow (great username ha ha!) I fear that they will rub the instep. They seem to fit ok

I'm going to try and get a refund as paid extra for next day delivery.

No where does it say they are narrow!

I've measure and I'm slightly /boardline

I have wide feet though and most sandals with a strap across the widest part of my foot will no where near fit.

I have wide feet and always have the regular fit not the narrow one (I buy a 38 in Birkenstocks but am usually a 39).

I have wide feet and wear regular Gizeh birkenstocks because I can adjust the straps. I have four pairs in different colours plus a pair of Birkenstock clogs. From about March to November they're all I wear and I've never had a corn or a moment's trouble with my feet.

I have wide feet and get the regular fitting. I had one pair of narrow fitting right back when I started wearing them and over time they really rubbed my toe.

Also I have noticed with Office int he past that they stock narrow as the standard and will say if it’s wide fitting rather than the other way round. I used to squint at the pictures to see if the little foot icon on the sole was filled in or not until I realised this.
