What shoes with this dress?

I'm very excited that i have a reason to post on S&B. You always come up with the goods.

I'm going to a wedding in just over a week's time. Wonderful weekend long event albeit under quite sad circumstances (it's very short notice as the bride is very ill).

The wedding itself is black tie - so I had a bit of a panic and ordered 10 dresses. I've decided on this dress - very flattering and comfortable, but I can't decide on what shoes would go with it. I can't walk in proper heels for love nor money, so restricted to low-ish block heels ideally. But what colour? Black? Or is black and red tacky?

Personally I think the sort of champagne tone might work, but a glittery silver would also be nice... maybe it also depends on your colouring a bit? Hopefully a proper style guru will be along shortly..!

Ohhh LOVE those monsoon ones @Pollipops1 and I think I could just about get away with the height of the heels, especially as there's a slight platform on the front.

They are my favourite but wasn’t sure if they were too high, glad you like them.

Just to say I have the monsoon ones and they are incredibly comfortable. Quite springy. I can wear them for long periods.
