Going to a party tonight and don't know what to where.

Sigh.
There's nothing in my wardrobe.
We have been invited to a wedding party/disco tonight. I have no idea what to wear. My wardrobe is dreadful. I feel fat and frumpy and would look just as good in a duvet cover as I would in anything in my wardrobe at the moment.

I've got an hour and a half to get ready.

Yes, I agree, accessories always help don't they. Shall dig to the bottom of my jewellery box and see what I can find to hide myself under.

Can you focus on making your hair/makeup/jewellry fab and go with a plain-ish outfit?

Thanks! Fortunately I live nr an Asda so I am forever going out to buy belt/necklace/earings- must stop!

I am going out tonight and am recycling jeans, vest top and cardigan with a chunky bracelet, earings, necklace and hair up.

(Hoping no one will notice I have worn the outfit 400 times before!)
