I absolutely love this sweater, and as I’ve got more summer clothes than I could ever wear in this short British summer, I’m treating myself to it instead of new hot weather clothes. I was in my winter cashmere jumpers last week! But which colour should I choose?

I am 46, size 12. Wear blue or off white cropped jeans or navy chino shorts, white sneakers or tan sandals. I have light olive skin, mid brown hair, blue eyes. I love rich colours, wear lots of navy, cream, bright blue. Used to think cooler colours worked on me, but warmer colours and gold perhaps work better now. Tempted by the coffee but I’m worried it’ll wash me out. Love the cobalt but it might feel a bit less classic.

It’s bit of a big buy for me so I’d love some advice about getting it right. Any thoughts from you stylish folk? https://www.poetryfashion.co.uk/product-VP12-POEKW/colour-ah-cobalt/knitwear/boatneck-cashmere-sweater.htm?Media=CMDBG071&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4Nazqs-uhgMVv5SDBx1p8gB6EA0YAiABEgKd3fD_BwE

I have similar colouring and that cobalt shade would suit me and work with all sorts of things. But whichever you choose, be prepared to return it- you really need to see it on to know if it’s right as colours on screen don’t always show true.

I’d consider soft cerise. Warm, bit more vibrant with blue eyes than the soft coffee perhaps, and would look well with light olive skin I think.

with your colouring Id say either the cobalt or the emerald

That’s really helpful. I’m going to try the cobalt and see if that works 🙂
