Comfortable, stylish clothes that I can roll around the floor in

When I'm not working, most of my time is spent at toddler groups, soft play etc. All the other mums look so polished and stylish and I'm still in my manky postpartem leggings.

What can I wear that is comfortable to roll around the floor in but also looks half decent? I have a bit if a c section pooch that I would like to hide.

I had two uniforms for this phase, which still work with my preschooler.

athleisure: embrace the leggings but upgrade to something more flattering and sculpting (Nike, Lululemon, Sweaty Betty), some decent tops and nice trainers. Comfortable and practical but can look stylish.

if I want to be a little smarter, a great pair of jeans (sucks your tummy in) with a nice shirt or well-cut t-shirt, or midi dresses. Patterns are great with little ones as they don’t show stains.

Love your title OP. I feel this.
I recently discovered palazzo pants , £39 at Mint Velvet, elasticated waistband. Great for hiding the pouch, looking a bit more stylish and super comfy. Wear with any top you like.
Culottes often seem to have a bit of elastic in the waist and often high waisted.
Sainsbury's often have decent cheap clothing and things like Thought at cheap prices.

I've been on Vinted the past couple of weeks as I'm the same. I've bought some lightweight harem type trousers and slim fit t shirts. I don't suit gym leggings and they make me feel too hot. I'm short so I always search for Dorothy Perkins Petite and Sainsbury's Petite.

I had an amazing a line midi length leather skirt when my kids were this age. It was brilliant because all the gross child goo just wiped off of it.

I have two of these I wear a lot in winter. My summer ‘uniform’ is slouchy wide-legged culottes and a blouse or thin knit.

(Oh goodness - those SF t shirts seem to have leapt up in price! I had mine very much cheaper from a YBD sale. Adorable though.)

What are the other stylish mums wearing? Can you spot a couple with similar body types to your own and look for similar outfits?
