Can’t afford whole regime so which item is best?

hi all
my friend recently bought me an Elemis pro marine oil collagen gift set which has been amazing-I’m a convert!
however having looked at the website I now realise there is no way I can replace the whole set of serum, moisturiser and night cream so I wondered which type of these is the most important?

my thinking is I get the serum as this will add the benefits of the active ingredients and carry on with usual moisturiser/sun cream/night cream?

or are the Day creams a better investment?

thanks in advance!

xx

Before discounting it completely look on the QVC website as they often have special sets of Elemis.

Get the product you enjoy using the most, which of them feels nicest when you apply it etc.

Thanks both, I am greedy I like all of them but will have to choose😂
will check QVC in case they’ve got any deals

Always better to spend more on a serum than a moisturizer.

Sometimes gift sets get discounted more than individual products. I buy Aveda this way.

@babypeach

This is on QVC at the moment and no P&P which is a bonus ( they charge a fair bit for P&P usually)

You;re taking a punt on the contents but worth a try ?

Its got Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Skin Smoothing Essence, which is £60+ alone @babypeach other items are unknown

Serum penetrates deeper into the skins epidermis so that is your best bet. Save on face oils, they only penetrate the top layer of skin (the ordinary brand has good cheap options). I think separate night and day creams are a scam. A cheap low irritant simple moisturiser, something like Cetaphil can be used morning and night. And SPF in the morning of course 🙂

Thank you all good advice , interesting about night and day creams too I did wonder what the difference could really be!

Serum is the most effective but the moisturiser makes my skin feel so smooth under makeup so I go for that each time

mumonthehill · 03/06/2024 06:30

That qvc deal is good and extra £5 off with FIVE4U I think if your first order. Qvc always do a good deal before Christmas as well.

You could keep an eye on TK Maxx in store and online. I have seen Elemis marine cream there a few times.
